Good communication is very important to us. Please feel free to email us either to inquire about reserving your golden retriever puppy and/or any time during the process. We are not always available to email back right away, so please give us a few days and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Once we receive your email showing interest in one of our golden retriever puppies, we will schedule a call with you to collect your information and ensure we are meeting your needs. Once we confirm that we can meet your needs and you would like to reserve one of our puppies, we will place you on our list. We do not require a deposit to reserve a golden retriever puppy. When the golden retriever puppies are born, you will then be contacted and informed of their birth. Once our puppies are four weeks old we will create and add you to a Facebook group for the litter. This will allow you to view photos, stay up to date as the puppies grow, and meet your littermates’ parents. Our buyers are welcome to visit at any time during the process, we just ask that you schedule a time with us first. The puppy go-home date will be when the puppies are eight weeks old. We will then schedule a time to pick up or deliver your golden retriever puppy! Once the puppies have made their way to your home, the Facebook group will remain open so you can continue to share photos and stories with your littermates.
Typically we do not deliver our puppies directly to their new homes. However, if at least four puppies are going towards the Chicago area, we can set up a day to make a trip to Champaign & Chicago, IL, to deliver puppies to their families.

What is included with the purchase of a golden retriever puppy?
A golden retriever puppy, microchip, and first doses of flea/tick medication, heartworm medication, & Parvo vaccine. (Paperwork for limited AKC registration can be provided for the buyer to submit upon request at time of purchase and full AKC registration can be provided on a case by case basis once the puppy turns two years old and is OFA certified for hips, elbows, eyes & heart.)

Do you deliver golden retriever puppies?
Yes, if we have at least four puppies going to the Chicago area, we are open to making a trip to Chicago to deliver puppies. While heading to Chicago, we could also make a stop in Champaign, IL.

No, we do not ship golden retriever puppies.
What is the average size of the golden retriever litter?
On average each litter will produce around ten golden retriever puppies.
What is your return policy?
Although we do our best to match personality, energy level, and temperament, there is no guarantee on these issues since socialization, life experiences, training (or lack of), and environmental issues are beyond our control. We do offer a no-questions-asked return policy should the puppy/family not be compatible as we do not want any of our puppies in shelters. We will NOT return the buyer’s money at this time. This offer only applies to original owners.
What testing is done on the adult golden retriever dogs being bred?
With the exception of Cleo and Sophie (our older golden retrievers who have had proven litters), our adult golden retriever dogs are OFA certified and Embark genetic tested; certifications are available upon request.
What color are the golden retriever puppies?
The color of our golden retriever puppies is litter-specific and will not be determined until puppies are born.
